When I was in Standard 9, once my tuition teacher, Sir Alan told us a story that really touched my heart and inspired me alot and the story was all about A Black dot. I will love to share the story with you all😊
One day, a professor entered the classroom and asked his students to get ready for a surprise test. The students waited anxiously at their desks for the test to begin. The professor handed over the question paper to each students. To everyone’s surprise, there were no questions – just a black dot in the middle of the paper. They were told to write what they see in the paper. The students, confused, got started on the inexplicable task. At the end of the class, the professor collected the answer sheet and started reading out loud one by one in front of all the students. All of them, with no exception, defined the black dot, trying to explain its position in the center of the sheet. After all had been reading, the classroom was in complete silence, the professor started to explain and said: I’m not going to grade you on this, I just wanted to give you something to think about. No one wrote about the white part of the paper, everyone focused on the black dot and the same happens in our lives. We have a piece of paper to observe and enjoy but we always focus on the dark spots.
So, friends our life is a beautiful gift and we always have a reason to celebrate- we have our family, friends around us however, we keep focusing only on the dark spots- the health issues that bothers us, lack of money, complicated relationship, disappointment with a friend and so on. The dark spots are very small when compare to everthing we have in our lives. So, live a good and a happy life and enjoy and cherish each moment😊😇💫SO SMILE😊
